The GPO and Nelsons Pillar, Dublin - 666

This is a cityscape painting depicting Dublin in the 1950's, when Nelson's Pillar was still standing and tram lines traversed the city.

Here a young couple, in the attire of the day, cross the cobbled street in front of the G.P.O on O'Connell Street.
