Paintings and prints of Limerick City by Irish Artist Chris McMorrow

A collection of limited edition art prints of Limerick City, capturing its streets, buildings and everyday life. In these works I try to reflect the character and sense of the city through familiar urban viewpoints.

Many of the scenes are set in the evening, with shopfronts and streetlamps casting warm orange and yellow light across damp streets and cobblestones. Reflections in cooler blues and mauves create a contrast with the darkening sky, adding depth and atmosphere to each composition.

Figures moving through the streets, often under umbrellas, bring a sense of life and purpose, from shoppers and passers-by to those heading towards cafés, pubs and perhaps the warmth of the fireside at home. 

These Limerick prints also make thoughtful gifts and each print is produced by the artist using museum-quality materials, signed and numbered, and available framed or unframed.
