I was looking for an iconic scene to remind her of her days in Dublin and I found the perfect picture among Chris' online selection. IrelandThere was great excitement when our eldest brother Anthony brought home his new girlfriend! His mum had died in childbirth and our dad married again with seven siblings to follow. We adored him! I have tried since to keep the memories strong. His whispering to me to see if I approved of the beautiful Maura. He told me how they had been together years before but separated due to foreign job prospects. He returned to Dublin where he randomly met Maura’s friend who answered him with the news that he wanted to hear. “Single and in Dublin!” Chris’s picture represents the fateful meeting that followed. A life changing Grafton Street Moment, living on forever in art and in our hearts. Thank you so much! (In memory of Anthony, RIP 2017)
