Towards the Green - 456
This acrylic painting shows a view from the top of Grafton Street looking towards the Stephens Green Arch in the late evening just before the shops close for business.I like to try and contrast the warm glow from the store windows with the blues in the sky and reflections to give the painting lots of colour and vibrancy.
This painting is available as a Limited Edition run of 200 prints using Epson Archival inks on supreme quality Hahnemuhle Traditional Fine Art paper. See dropdown menu above to see size, price and framing options.
Dublin City Views
This was bought for me as a memento when leaving my North Dublin City job along with a companion piece 'Rainy Dublin Evening'. Memories of my journey there and back to work for over 14 years. Beautifully framed they have pride of place in the living room.
One is never enough!
As a Dubliner living abroad this painting evoked many happy memories for me. After much searching for a Dublin scene that resonated with me, I found exactly what I was looking for - and more - in Chris McMorrow's paintings. The vibrancy of the colours perfectly capture a late evening on Grafton Street. Only problem is which painting to choose? I ended up buying two - on this occasion!
Towards the Green
I have bought 2 of these prints for close friends for wedding presents in the last few months. They are both living abroad and feel that bit closer to home having it hanging on their wall. We went to college close to Grafton Street and hence it is such a sentimental scene. The use of colour is so beautiful and brings us all back to how we felt at that time in our lives. A beautiful print that I have no doubt I will buy more of. Each time I bought the print Chris was so helpful and delivered it to my work place so promptly and beautiful framed. I look forward to buying more of his prints in the future. Orlaith
I bought this print for my daughter who spend four years walking "Towards the Green" while a student at RCSI. So glad I discovered artist Chris Morrow--I searched everywhere for a contemporary artist whose work depicted the places our family fell in love with while visiting in Ireland. Chris's work is on our permanent list when looking for gifts for classmates and family.
