The Hairy Lemon Pub, Dublin - 601
A painting of the Hairy Lemon Pub, Stephen Street, Dublin, on a wet evening, with customers snug inside having a few drinks. The pub apparently gets it's name from a dog catcher that used to be around Dublin in the 1950's who seemed to have had a lemon shaped face full of hairy stubble.
The cult Irish film “The Commitments” which is based off of a Roddy Doyle novel features heavily in the Hairy Lemon where a lot of its scenes were filmed.
This painting is available as a Limited Edition run of 200 prints using Epson Archival inks on supreme quality Hahnemuhle Traditional Fine Art paper. See dropdown menu above to see size, price and framing options.
Always pleased with Chris’ work!!
Bought as a gift and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had it on time. Fantastic!! Already planning my next item to purchase!
Both the order and the send were confirmed and my inquiry emails were answered timely by Chris himself. The package arrived stateside (Massachusetts) in short order, well packed for the shipping and the painting was as brilliant as we'd hoped. I highly recommend to anyone contemplating order, it was a great experience overall. Thanks Chris!
