The Hairy Lemon Pub, Dublin - 601
A painting of the Hairy Lemon Pub, Stephen Street, Dublin, on a wet evening, with customers snug inside having a few drinks. The pub apparently gets it's name from a dog catcher that used to be around Dublin in the 1950's who seemed to have had a lemon shaped face full of hairy stubble.
The cult Irish film “The Commitments” which is based off of a Roddy Doyle novel features heavily in the Hairy Lemon where a lot of its scenes were filmed.
This painting is available as a Limited Edition run of 200 prints using Epson Archival inks on supreme quality Hahnemuhle Traditional Fine Art paper. See dropdown menu above to see size, price and framing options.
