This acrylic is part of a series of woodland paintings with a bluebell theme. I included a couple embracing in the distance to give the scene a quiet, romantic focus.

The red dress stands out among the greens and the carpet of bluebells, drawing the eye towards the figures. I liked having that small touch of strong colour within the softer woodland setting.
