This acrylic painting was inspired by a black and white photograph taken in a Paris park and i changed things around a bit and decided to make the red umbrella really prominent and hoped to capture the silent crispness in the watery light of a late winter afternoon.
I doubt the romantic lovers dallied too long in the cold and I imagine they headed off for a warm espresso nearby.
