The Shelbourne Autograph Collection Hotel on St. Stephens Green North Side, one of the most famous and historical hotels in Dublin, was built in 1824 and still retains its old world charm and makes for a wonderful architectural study.
Since being refurbished it now boasts as setting the standard for five starhospitality, pairing classic elegance with impeccable service in a location thathas shaped the city’s most memorable moments.
My recent oil painting tries to capture some of the wonderful architecture and ambience of the front of the building and it's grand ornate wrought iron porch entrance, in the early evening light.
