In this lovely painting, we see a couple standing outside the Honan Church in Cork, Ireland on a bright, sunny day.

The Honan Chapel is on the grounds of University College Cork and named after the wealthy Isabella Honan who donated a significant amount of money towards its construction. It was completed in 1916.

The chapel contains a number of stained glass windows designed and installed by the artist Harry Clarke.
