The Millenium Bridge which spans the river Liffey in Dublin doesn't really inspire me to paint it but it affords a great view of The Halfpenny Bridge and is quiet enough that you can stop and take in the vista and hence this painting came to be ..... the romantic couple under an umbrella giving a sense of perspective to the whole, painted in muted cool blues and mauves.
