This painting is a small study of a cafe in Lucca, a beautiful walled town in Tuscany, Italy where I stopped for a cappucino and a one of their delicious homemade 'dolce'.
As in a lot of traditional cafes and restaurants in Italy the waiters and waitresses wear black and white uniforms and looks great for paintings and photographs !
