I couldn't resist painting this scene when we had the big snow back a couple of years ago.
Unfortunately this couple of lovers didn't stay still for long as they took their crunchy romantic walk in the snow. I had to rely on memory and photos for reference back in the studio.
The reddish orange umbrella is really set off with all the surrounding blues and purples, drawing the eye to that part of the canvas.
