An acrylic painting on canvas of Dun Guaire, a 16th Century tower house, not far from Kinvara, Galway, the former crib of Guaire, the King of Connacht.
“Dun” means fort in Irish. Dunguaire Castle was featured in the film “Guns in the Heather” starring Kurt Russell. It was also featured in the Eighties movie “North Sea Hijack” starring Roger Moore, one of the earlier James Bonds.
