A painting of the Palace Bar, Fleet Street, Dublin, an authentic Victorian style pub that was constrcted in 1823. The Palace was a popular pub for journalists, editors and many other “newspapermen” as it was only a couple of minutes from the Irish Times offices throughout the forties up until the sixties.
