This picturesque 1920's style French cafe, situated on Dublin's Wicklow Street, with it's striking orange awning just had to be painted. Le Petit Parisien is also a bakery and patisserie. The owners say 'What we set out to create is a slice of Paris life, a warm corner of aromatic France in the heart of Dublin' and the do so I think. I have painted it's predecessors at this premises, Gibson's and Cafe Leon, but this shopfront wouldn't look out of place in Paris. Painted with acrylics on canvas
