An Afternoon Pint, Kehoes Pub, Dublin - 573
A painting of the inside of Kehoes Pub on South Anne Street, Dublin in the early afternoon , a man enjoys a quiet pint of Guinness, while another reads the sports pages and the barman quietly cleans some glasses, the calm before the storm of later on when this popular pub will be heaving with customers. Painted with acrylics on a stretched canvas.

I bought two framed prints, one as a present and this one for myself. I loved the minute I saw it, but it was not until it arrived that realised how much it meant to me. I want to be there, at that bar with a paper and a pint. And as I look at it i go there. I have one problem, I cannot find the correct place to put it. I want it beside me all the time.
This is the 3rd painting I’ve bought from Chris and once again, I’m delighted with the both the product and service. I bought it for my husband for Valentine’s Day to put up in our bar at home. He’s a big fan. The colours and details in it are amazing And it’s actually very relaxing to look at. Thanks again Chris :)
Ok, I'm missing the pub, so when I saw a tweet recommending Chris McMorrow's work and saw this print of 'An Afternoon Pint, Kehoes Pub, Dublin' I couldn't resist. I love art, however I admit, it started as an impulse buy, but I ended up absolutely delighted with it. Chris captures the atmosphere really well, I love his attention to detail and his colours are striking, but well balanced. Put it this way, it hangs in a very prominent place in the house, and I have since bought another print from him. It arrived today...and I'm even more delighted with it...Check his work out.
I recently purchased a framed print from Chris and I’m delighted with it. The print and colours used are so beautiful and brings back so many happy memories of times myself and my boyfriend spent in kehoes when we first starting seeing each other. It also arrived so quickly too, a day or two after ordering. Will definitely be purchasing again from Chris and recommending to family and friends
Very pleased with the quality of the print and framing. Excellent personal service.
This print was a gift for my husband - Kehoes is his favourite pub. There's a song called 'A pint of plain is your only man' which reminds me of this scene in Kehoes that has been captured so perfectly. "When things go wrong and will not come right, Though you do the best you can, When life looks black as the hour of night – A pint of plain is your only man." Thanks for the print Chris!
This is the 3rd print we have bought from Chris. We love the colours he uses, and the scenes he captures! Very efficient delivery too!
I loved the Kehoes pub scene painting but I needed it bigger and on canvas for a feature wall in my living room . I decided to chance my arm and got a number for the artist Chris Mc Morrow . I told him the size I was looking for and requested it on canvas . Chris couldn't have been more helpful . He got it printed onto canvas to my exact dimensions. He even hand delivered it to my house in Dublin and was extremely reasonable on the price . I still can't believe what he done for me , he was an absolute gentleman. The painting is amazing and always gets a reaction from people when they see it . I will never forget this wonderful experience .
I bought this painting as a present for my husband, he worked in Dublin in the 70s and Kehoes was his local and when we started going out I would meet him there for a few drinks. Many years later we went back to Dublin and payed Kehoes a visit, brought back many happy memories, it hasn't changed much in all those years. This painting is such a beautiful snapshot of our past. It's now placed in our living room with other paintings with memories from our past. Like stepping back in time.
If you have ever had the pleasure of going to Kehoe's in Dublin, you know how good this piece of art captures the place. I have taken photos of the pub and compared them to the print and the likeness is amazing. Plus, Chris does a great job depicting the people who might be in the pub on a lazy afternoon. The wide range of colors he uses really makes the print "pop". It is the piece of art I have that receives the most compliments. I love it
