Unframed prints come in a double mount with backing board in a sealed cellophane display bag so that all that is needed is the glass and outer moulding.

They can also be shipped with just the protected print itself rolled up in a heavy cardboard tube if preferred. Just drop me a message if so.

Chris :-)

An acrylic painting of outsideKilmainham Gaol building, Dublin, with the gated entrance to the Royal Hospital, and the Patriot Inn Pub, in the distance.

The prison is where many of the Rebels were executed after the 1916 Rising in Dublin, one of the many stories that can be experienced inside this wonderful museum.

The youngest prisoner ever held in Kilmainham was an eight year old. Children were sometimes arrested for theft.

Jail cells were not split into men and women or even children. You could find yourself in a cell with a mixture of the three.

Kilmainham was decommissioned in 1924.

A number of movies were filmed in Kilmainham including “The Face of Fu Manchu”, “The Italian Job”, “The Wind that Shakes the Barley” and “Michael Collins”.
