Evening, Grafton Street, Dublin - 228
An acrylic painting of a crowded Grafton Street, Dublin, on a dark rainy evening. The people pass Brown Thomas department store, umbrellas to hand, which is lit up with oranges and reds, the light spilling it's reflections on the cool grey ground. A Canadian flag, Maple Leaf fluttering, hangs from the first floor, in honour of Brown Thomas's owner Galen Weston.

Typical damp evening in dublin. Captures it perfectly
I lived in Dublin for 16 years and when I made the big decision to leave, I wanted to have something special to remember it. I instantly fell in love with Chris Mc morrow's style. "An Evening on Grafton Street" was definitely the print for me. Although they were loads to chose from. Chris made the purchase so hassle free, he was very friendly and professional. I contacted him initially by email and he phoned me back to make arrangements with me. I absolutely love the print, that's so much Chris.
My wife had her eye on this painting for some time. It remaindered her of when we started dating and would meet on Grafton Street. She loves it and it now hangs proudly over our fire place. It really is a beautiful painting and sets the scene perfectly.
