Bruxelles Pub, Harry Street, Dublin - 575
An acrylic painting on stretched canvas of Bruxelles 'cosmopolitan' pub on Harry Street, Dublin, just off Grafton Street has a lovely architectural facade outside with a pretty terracotta turret and has three busy bars inside that regularly put on live music. In fact the pub is has a long music tradition and it was a frequent hang out spot for the famous Irish rock band Thin Lizzy and a statue to their lead singer and bass player, Phil Lynott, can be seen on the pavement just outside the bar in this picture.
Sometimes my interest is piqued and I like to research some of my painting subjects, especially Dublin street scenes and pubs and bars and am often amazed at some of the snippets of curious information I come across. Follow this link to read one or two about Bruxelles Pub ...

Discovered the bruxelles painting...perfect present! It is so life like and frames so well. My husband was delighted...
Bruxelles Pub, Harry Street
The print was a present for a friend - a great memory of many fun filled, late nights in Bruxelles listening to great music! The print was fantastic - the actual painting and the quality of the print and framing. I didn’t really want to give it away all!
Was given this as a present and it brought back so many memories from when I used to drink there :-)
