Sandycove Searchers - 291
In this acrylic seascape painting there are two little boys with a bucket and net searching among the rock pools for crabs, pinkeens or any kind of marine life that will capture their attention. In the background is the Martello Tower that features in James Joyce's opening scene in Ulysses. Bloomsday is celebrated in Sandycove each year on June 16th and the tower now hosts a small Joycean museum.
This painting is available as a Limited Edition run of 200 prints using Epson Archival inks on supreme quality Hahnemuhle Traditional Fine Art paper. See dropdown menu above to see size, price and framing options.
Ode to Martello Towers
Absolutely delighted with my latest Sandycove Searchers ,it joins my Seapoint Martello by Chris. Sandycove is my past (and joy of childhood) and Seapoint is my now. Wherever I am in the future these beautiful prints will grace my walls in memory of 2 happy places in my life .
Beautiful piece. Bought as a birthday gift. Recipient loved it.
Memories of my late mum
We bought this piece as my late mum was from sandycove and we love it so much, the attention to detail is fantastic, Chris is fabulous to deal with and is very engaging with his customers, we have three of his pieces now and I've no doubt we will be purchasing more.
Bought as a present for my partner as she has fond memories of Sandycove growing up. She absolutely loved it! The painting arrived very quickly and Chris was lovely to deal with. Can't fault anything!
I purchased the Sandycove Searchers print from Chris recently. Beautiful picture. Stunning colours. Makes you feel that you are actually there.
Sandycove Dublin framed print picture
We were delighted to find the framed print of Sandycove where we used to live, a lovely picture to remind us of a special memory and place. The print also includes the 40 foot swimming place beside sandycove harbour and beach which are favourite dublin swimming places of mine. Thanks Chris!
